(IPSWICH)

COMPETITIVE SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE

This is an exciting new full-time role based at our Ipswich branch.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of local construction companies and will be able to grow and expand our existing portfolio of customers while looking for new growth opportunities.

You will be expected to help in the day to day running of the business when needed but the main focus will be to promote merchant sales in the Ipswich area.

EXPERIENCED BUILDERS' MERCHANT YARD PERSON / FORKLIFT OPERATOR

FULL TIME

(CLACTON, FRINTON & COLCHESTER) 

COMPETITIVE SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, hardworking people to join the teams at our Clacton, Frinton and Colchester branches.

The right candidates will possess great communication skills and take pride in helping customers and colleagues.

These roles include operating a forklift to pick orders, deliveries, loading/unloading vehicles, maintaining stock levels and keeping the branches in order

Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5.00pm

and alternate Saturday mornings 7.00am - 12.00pm


 

TRANSPORT OFFICE ASSISTANT - FULL TIME

(TELFORD ROAD CLACTON)

COMPETITIVE SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE

We have a rare and exciting opportuity available to join our team in the transport office who are responsible for the efficient day to day running of our fleet of crane lorries. We are looking to recruit a dynamic person with an excellent telephone manner and strong IT skills. Experience in a transport office setting would be a distinct advantage.

This role will include:

Processing orders on Transport Planner and Kerridge computer systems.

Assisting with planning the daily schedule through Excel based planner system.

Liaise with drivers to ensure efficiency and maintain excellent levels of customer service.

General duties to assist other team members as required to help with the smooth running of the department.

Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5.00pm

and alternate Saturday mornings 7.00am - 12.00pm

 


 

BUILDERS' MERCHANT SALESPERSON - FULL TIME

(COLCHESTER)

COMPETITIVE SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the team at our busy Colchester branch. Good IT skills are essential as is an excellent telephone manner. Builders' merchant experience would be a distinct advantage but on the job training will be given to the right candidate.

Responsibilities will include:

Taking sales calls.

Using Kerridge sales and stock control computer system. 

Assist counter staff serving trade and retail customers.  

Monday to Friday 7.00am – 5.00pm

and alternate Saturday mornings 7.00am - 12.00pm

 


 

TRAINEE BUILDERS MERCHANT COUNTER SALESPERSON - FULL TIME

(FRINTON)

COMPETITIVE SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic trainee to develop skills working in our extremely busy Frinton branch (based in Kirby-le-Soken). Good IT skills are essential as is an excellent telephone manner. Builders' merchant experience would be an advantage but training will be given.

Responsibilities will include:

Serving trade and retail customers.

Taking sales calls, using Kerridge sales and stock control computer system.

Monday to Friday 7.00am – 5.00pm

and alternate Saturday mornings 7.00am - 12.00pm
